5. Grand Prix of the artistes

This year, the Hanover Christmas Circus will have a large line-up of highly awarded ring celebrities at its 5th Grand Prix of Artists. From December 21, 2023 to January 7, 2024, world-class artists who have already won awards at international festivals will once again perform in the festively decorated tent on Schützenplatz. In Hanover, the audience selects their three “superstars” from among them, who are ceremoniously chosen at the end of the guest performance.
The artistic elite from Beijing to Paris promise unforgettable hours. From strong to weird, from beautiful to shrill, the festival shows excitement, fun and the spectacular.
The highlights certainly include the multiple juggling world champion from Prague, Mario Berousek, or the icon of aerial net artistry, Shirley Larible from Las Vegas. The Nouveau Cirque from France is also represented as well as wonderfully weird comedy made in the United Kingdom.
