The online retailer Amazon is taking advantage of Hannover's location with its modern sorting center in Garbsen.

As the world's largest e-commerce company, Amazon offers an extensive range of products from books, music and videos to electronics, cosmetics and much more.

Amazon's first automated sorting center opened in 2018 and is located across from the A2 exit in Garbsen. The sorting center is equipped with innovative technology that automatically scans and sorts shipments without the need for manual steps. Around 300 employees work in the approximately 30,000 m² area.
