Light Rails: Night Service at Weekends (Nachtsternverkehr)

From Friday to Saturday night, up until early morning, certain tram lines run at half-hourly intervals from Kröpcke station and travel radially to the city boundaries. Since the light rails and buses remain for five to ten minutes at Kröpcke, passengers can change transportation easily.

The following light rails start/stop at Kröpcke station:

1, 3, 4 and 10, departure from Kröpcke at:
1:45, 2:45, 3:45 am and from Saturday to Sunday at 4:45 am.

2/8, 5, 6, 7* and 9 departure from Kröpcke at:
1:15, 2:15, 3:15 a.m. and at 4:15 a.m.
(* travels only between "Wettbergen" and the main central station)

Suburban Trains: Night Service at Weekends (S-Bahn)

Night travel with Deutsche Bahn: On weekends several trains depart from Hannover main central station with direction to Neustadt am Rübenberge, Burgdorf, Springe and Bennemühlen:

• S2 to Neustadt am Rübenberge (1:04, 2:04, 3:01, 4:04 a.m.)
• S4 to Bennemühlen (1:01, 2:02, 3:02, 4:02 a.m.)
• S5 to Hameln (1:00 a.m.)
• S5 to Springe (2:00, 3:00, 4:00 a.m.)
• S7 to Burgdorf (1:01, 2:01, 3:01, 4:01 a.m.)

City Bus: Night Service at Weekends (Üstra busses)

Within the city boundaries of Hannover and Langenhagen most of the buses that are on duty during the day, also transport guests after 23 p.m. Bus lines 100, 120, 121, 122, 124, 125, 127, 128 and 200 offer complementary service to the light rails night service. Greater Hannover Area: Night Service at Weekends (NightLiner RegioBus)

RegioBus offers its clients a special service: connecting bus service on the night from Friday to Sunday starting from several central stations, terminal stations and central bus stations.

Women’s Night Taxi (FrauenNachtTaxi)

Üstra offers the Üstra-FrauenNachtTaxi (FNT) for all female passengers, also accompanied by children, using light rails and buses at night. Üstra grants a 2.50 € discount on every journey within the Hannover city area. The Üstra-FrauenNachtTaxi is organised in association with Hannover City Council Women's Representatives, and operates from 1 October - 31 March from 7 pm - 6 am and from 1 April - 30 September from 9 pm - 5 am.
