Sightseeing Basilica of St. Clement Select Language Deutsch English The basilica was Hanover's first Catholic church. The basilica was consecrated on November 4, 1718 and impresses with its rich interior design. It is one of the northernmost Venetian-style buildings. The basilica did not get its striking dome until after the Second World War.
