The process from the idea to the overall composition of the show with the motto "The future plays in the past", with which Lithuania presents itself in Hanover, took a year - always with the special challenges of the historic and, according to the team, "awe-inspiring" garden backdrop in mind. The result is an exhilarating party that takes visitors on a journey back to the 18th century using state-of-the-art firework technology. Elector George I of Hanover invited visitors to the party to celebrate his coronation as King of Great Britain in 1714. The connection between the Hanoverian and British royal families is reflected in the sounds of British bands such as the Beatles and Queen, to which the light effects in Herrenhausen dance.
